Porter’s Call has taught me how to stay true to myself and to use fame as a platform to do good in this world rather than a place to boost my ego, lose sense of who I am, or wreck my marriage. Being on the road can be challenging, especially for a married artist, but my wife and I have been truly encouraged by Porter’s Call. They do not sugar coat the truth which in turn leaves us feeling confident knowing the truth about the challenges we have faced and soon will face - and how to successfully manage those situations.

Porter’s Call embraces the artist community with unconditional love and Spirit-filled counsel. I walked through their door at the perfect time. Juggling a music career and three small children at home with my husband is a journey I can’t forge alone. This safe haven and the hearts that serve there have greatly improved my overall mental and emotional health.

Being a traveling artist has its unique ups and downs. Porter’s Call has been my saving grace, showing me how to deal with my emotions in a way that few people understand.

They always tell you that all your dreams are gonna come true, but they don’t tell you at what cost. I think the smartest thing labels and management teams could invest in is the mental and emotional well-being of their signed artists. To not consider the human element at the core of the music industry is to literally risk tragic fate again and again without seeing the cause.
